The New Headquarters Project of ICBC Vietnam – Hanoi Branch is guided by a clear objective: to create a professional and modern workplace while accurately reflecting ICBC’s identity and global development orientation.
The design inspiration, distilled by APES and LEGACY, is derived directly from the Client’s brand identity, evoking a harmonious interplay between tradition and modernity. This spirit is translated into our design approach: to craft a space that embodies strong Asian characteristics while meeting international operational standards.
Red is selected as the dominant color palette, symbolizing prosperity, passion, and sustainable growth. Spatial details are carefully restrained and stylized to recreate the elegance of a financial environment, reinforcing a sense of reliability at every touchpoint.
Building upon this foundation, the “Silk Road” concept is seamlessly integrated throughout the design. Silk itself embodies distinctive qualities—softness, flexibility, and resilience—which are translated into the space through refined curved partitions, smooth transitions between functional areas, and material treatments that convey both lightness and structural integrity.
Moreover, the “Silk Road” represents a journey of connection – a convergence of Eastern and Western cultures and commerce. This spirit clearly reflects Industrial and Commercial Bank of China’s development orientation: a continuous pursuit of growth and expansion.
APES and LEGACY are honored to shape a human-centric environment, where every detail is aligned with principles of standardization, reliability, and sustainability.
